The Girls

Must be that time of year again for my neighbors. Came home today and saw "The Girls" gleefully preening in a field of sweetgrass and flowers. A gaggle of them, each both winsome and agog, were so elegant in thier strapless Hereford reds and whites, lined up by the steel pole and wire fence like dancers waiting for the music to begin.

Why?

The boys in the next pasture of course.

If I can find my heels and my little black dress, I'll stand there too!

Honey, when you have time come over to the cafe. It's Robyn's birthday (well, Wednesday...you're late!). I signed your name to the card. Your writing is beautiful by the way! Give a shout out to our girl.

Love you and great posts. Sorry I haven't been around lately. Life is too crazy.

XO

The boys seem strangely indifferent...either that or they're just feigning insouciance--I challenge you to a vocabulary duel, Skeeter! LOL. I'm adding "paronym" to my blog's vocab list...

Wow..all those female cows flipping their heads around and batting those lashes....and all for some wet nostriled boys who just want one thing....

And hey...are you the one who recommended "The Sleeping Doll" to me? If so...thank you. I am ADORING it.

Good morning, sweetie! Wow, you have way too many girls! :)

Have you been mixing ingredients, yet? Looking forward to seeing you at our "Dessert Carnival :)
