State Fair Quilts
Went to the Oklahoma State Fair and found these quilts in one of the exhibition halls. They were so amazing in detail, quality and composition that I had to post a few of them here. Is this amazing art or what?
These are truly beautiful!!! Thanks for the reminder that people do STILL do this kind of thing!! My grandmother used to win ribbons at the fair for hers!! Hope all is well with YOU! Love, Sharon

Those are beautiful! I've always had a weakness for Japanese handcrafts.
Oh yes...forgot....we are having our State Fair in Dallas right now, too. I haven't been over there and probably won't.

My mother is a quilter and I am lucky enough to have a few that she's made.
Not only do I like the art, but I like where it all sprang from.

Beautiful art. I have one quilt that my mother made for me. It's quite precious now that she is gone.
