One of the things about having particular blood types, is that THEY will call you and request a unit of your blood.
So, I donated. Got my red T-shirt (Go Sooners!), some pretzels and some paperwork. Afterwards had dinner at the Chinese place next door.
Donate blood if you can. Help save a Life!

Thanks Skeeter--I never have done it, but Sarge is always encouraging me. I think I will do it now.
Well done Skeeter! I'm type B+, not a common one and the Red Cross van often stops by the Dumbass Industries for donations (we're around 1.000 people there). I went some years ago, but they rejected me because I didn't reach the minimum weight. *Sigh*
I can't donate because I've had cancer in the past, but applaud you for doing it. I'm A+ We had Chinese food the other night, too, but we ate it at home.
So, dude...did they get all of your blood or something? It has been a while and all. :D
I am B-, they love me at the Red Cross. I love them too! They give lovely t-shirts and they saved the spouse's life~! Your blood type chart is cool. The boys are A+ and A-; can you guess who is what? Unfortunately, they can't give me any of the red stuff if I ever need it. I am not compatible with my own kids--many parents think it, I know it!
I can't donate, I'm anemic.. tsk tsk.. But I'd gladly donate some if I can...
