The building that gives this place its name really is, or was once anyway, a functioning Catholic Church. The church building is a historical site and is as beautiful as it is rock solid.
It's hard to describe how impressive this place really is. It starts with the walk up to the building.
That continues all the way up to the front door.
The first thing I noticed when I pulled the door open was the malty smell of a beer being brewed. The light was perfect and streamed through the big purple, blue and red stained glass windows.

I went and checked out their website...very cool. I see it's also a restaurant, did you happen t eat there?
Do they really brew beer in the church building? WOW.
Well, actually, I shouldn't be so surprised. The monks distill excellent spirits too. Measure and balance is the key!
That building is a lovely old thing. Glad they didn't tear it down and put up a speed fab crete monstrosity. I'm enjoying your work trip very much.
That's incredibly cool.
Beautiful. Baby, have you met CSI? You two and beer. Match made in Heaven.
