Dinner and the Museum

Well, I've been here in Pittsburgh for a week now. Went to restaurants in the evening an have explored the town. Finally went to the Carnegie Museum, and really enjoyed it, but somewhere along the way ... something started me thinking about my social life ...

I really miss my Sunshine. Yes, we talk. We text. We see her in everything ...

But, it's just not the same. How? Well, for starters, she defies gravity ...

But, not THAT much ... Except during THAT "special" time ...

So, I kept looking around the place and found HER ...

Perfect. She's beautiful. Who's that little guy hanging upside down from her hands? Well, that would be ME, dear ones, after she finds out that I had perogies ...

And cheese fries ...

For dinner!

Okay, it's official. I'm hungry. When I started this journey I'd just come from the previous post (yes, commented there) then I had to witness a probably 14th C. man with no penis and love handles. Why in the hell would a sculptor spend all that time making a man real? Skeeter, you're killin' me one post at a time.

You're still in Pittsburgh? Wow. Word for the day:

"Endurance" n. the ability to last, stand point, etc.

God I love engineers!!!

XO

Where is a fig leaf when you need one.

I need to send you over to Dooce's where she covers her dog's anus with a little photoshopping before she posts. *grin*

Reckon it, the penis, was broken off sometime or other? My guess it was there at one time.

Nice visit to the museum, Skeeter.
The guy with no penis made a hit in your blog, lol. In Greece there's plenty of these statues -most of these poor stone guys have lost their bits over the years... fingers, noses, penis... all lost-. But the Greek model of beauty remains.

I hope you're back home soon with your Miss Sunshine, she must be missing you big time.

Best regards

Hi Skeeter!

Very witty! Museums are great places for throwing up the weird and wonderful.

Hope the cheese-fries were worth the hanging!

You always have such an interesting perspective. :)

I've never eaten a perogi. May have to look into it.

Oh, good hell...cheese fries. I LOVE them and haven't had them in ages, mostly because Bing acts like she is going to gag every time I order them. I think I need to slip out for some bad eating time with my bff, Harriet. She will order the fried pickles and I will order the cheese fries and we will share....
