This is my favorite suit jacket. It fits me perfectly and it's so comfortable. When I bought it all those years ago, it came with a pair of pants that matched perfectly and fit like they were tailor-made for me.
The problem is that when I needed to wear my suit, I discovered (to my horror) that a seam in the trousers had worn out and split. It wasn't repairable!
So I went to the store where I bought the suit and hoped to find a matching pair of pants for the suit. Several hours later and many visits to other stores, no such luck. Time for a new suit. This time I bought a suit and two pairs of pants. You know, just in case five or ten years later ... Evil Fate strikes again.
So my question is this: What do I with a suit jacket that has no matching trousers?

Hm... you could always
1-Buy a pair of pants that go with the jacket, not necessarily exactly the same. Sometimes contrasts are very fashionable.
2-Ask Miss Sunshine for help (she knows, I'm sure).

Well, I was going for contrast. Barring that--Yup....thinkin' Miss Sunshine will have a plan.
New suits are fun. New suits with two pairs of trousers sounds like a wise choice.

my teen boy want a suit jacket for wearing with jeans and tees so you could take aleaf from his book, donate it to a charity so some cash strapped young fashionista can buy itor put it in the wardrobe for another twenty years (or ten, dpeending on just how much of a collector you are)

I was going to go with the charity option, but wearing it with jeans, if it looks right, is a good idea.

My son would tell you to go with the jacket and jeans... and he is somewhat of a fashion plate.. you know being young and single, gotta keep the girls interested!!
