Three New Trees

I have three new trees in the yard. All of them are mighty oaks. Two were planted by me. One was planted by the squirrel that lives in my neighbor's attic. Can you guess which is which?

Oak "A"

Oak "B"

Oak "C"

lol - funny.

I'm looking to get rid of a few trees and you're off planting them. Want some of mine? FREE!

Oak "C" looks squirrely to me!

Hello :)

The trees look nice and they will look even better when their big. And then in the fall you will have leaves everywhere. And a lot of raking to do. :) Of course you can use a leaf blower.
Well, I have to agree with terrirainer. Oak C looks like squirrel work but I also have this feeling that it's a trick question. :D So I guess it can be any one of them.

Hi Skeeter, thanks for your kind comment on my blog. I popped over hear and was heartened to see newly planted trees...and ...hmmmm...this is just a wild guess...but is it the third photo that features the squirrely tree?

Thanks for a day-brightening post...

Ah...a volunteer tree. I like those best.

My yard is crammed with trees. We have a huge sugar maple in our backyard and several Austrian Pines. My favorites are an old crab tree in our front yard and a Hawthorn too. Liv calls it "the witch tree."

Ahhh. I love my trees. And I sometimes actually hug them.

Well, you know me and trees baby! Our neighbors all have the most GORGEOUS Ash trees and the squirrels bury nuts from them every year, so our yard is an Ash festival. I'm always cutting them back and they're always growing. One came up this year in a huge container I have that holds a white azalea. I told the squirrels "Yup, that's gonna work." They're such little scatter brains and I love um.

First of all, I want to say that all your new oak trees are mighty beautiful, but if I have to point fingers...C. Only because the other two still have tags. ;)

I'm looking forward to seeing the trees mature as we all do!

Love ya,
Suze XO

Oh, by the way, did anyone mention how big and Oak gets?! Yup, big. When they're fully mature and you're old and grey, watch out for the "big" storm because you probably won't just lose the trees, they'll take out the house too. Good luck with that honey!
