Politicians At The Door

Had a visit today from a politician. My State Representative stopped by the Casa Del Skeeter to ask for my continued support. He handed me some campaign literature. He was wearing shorts and a T shirt. So was I. He was wearing socks with his flip flops ... this was clearly a formal visit. There was a time when we were merely ... neighbors. I don't feel it anymore.

Yeah Skeeter, I got that, the flipflops and socks, not so much!!
Wish you could have been here for the birthday party... we went roller skating. Nana had to have some pain medicine to get through yesterday!!

SOCKS???? Please say it ain't so!

That would have distracted me far more than the actual issues would have. YIKES!

Hmmmmm.....socks with flipflops??? That alone might be enough to lose my vote.

Thanks for visiting and giving my sympathy on the huskers loss. I'm happy in my knowledge that this is a rebuilding year, and this team already shows more heart than they did under Callahan. It's bad enough to lose without the players saying they don't care that they lost.

Socks with flip flops? Was he Asian? I have pictures of relatives in get-ups like that. Weird.
